Key Corkscrew by Carl Aubock

Both whimsical and functional, this brass key twists open to reveal a steel corkscrew. The teeth act as a bottle opener.

It was designed in 1932 by Carl Auböck III (1924–1993) when he was just 14 years old. Production was overseen by Carl Auböck II (1900-1957), one of the quirkiest and most collectible of modern designers, known for its witty approach to industrial design.
